When I was a kid, 65 years ago, there was a Baders bakery near our elementary school (Lord Selkirk). Once a week after school, my sister and I would go to the back of the bakery and they would give us a paper bag full of broken cookies, fresh from the oven. So delicious 😋

Early '70s used to go to the same school and went to the same cookie factory and got the same broken cookies it was awesome
